About This Village

Readfield, Maine is a small, rural community located about 8 miles northwest of the state capitol, Augusta. The Town of Readfield was incorporated on March 11, 1791. The population was 2,598 as of the 2010 census. The town covers about 31 square miles and contains the villages of Readfield, Readfield Depot and Kent's Hill. East Readfield as a village no longer exists.
